I've simply spent ii nights on my new setup, just I am amused to expiry with the results!

I have awakened just once each night—which is a approval—and I've been able to go right back to sleep. Unfortunately, my trunk puts out some heat when I'm trying to slumber. Nevertheless, the gel retentivity foam topper is living up to its hope.

It keeps its shape for years and I take no back pain that isn't manageable. Annette, I've had mine for a couple of years (bought a new one and gave the old one to my son). I sleep in a queen size bed, lone like you. However, I switch sides all through the night, (a plus of not having a sleep partner!), so I have no indentations.

How thick is your topper? Double check the manufacturer's warranty. Could be yous have a faulty product. I'd see most exchanging it if it's become misshapen afterwards such a short catamenia of time. Also, which side practise you take facing up? The egg crate side or the apartment side? I have the egg crate side facing up and have had no problems with information technology.

I, too, sleep lone and am free to use the entire surface of my bed. I likewise had pain in my hip and lower back until I bought this topper. I've been pain gratis e'er since. What's nice about the topper is yous can use the egg crate side or the flat side. Mine is egg crate side upwards and I love it. I would suggest y'all give information technology a try. I have a Serta Perfect Sleeper Gel Top mattress and notice I have indentations in it since the first calendar month I got it, now it is about 8 months quondam. That said, I've been sleeping on this topper since 2013 and have not had any symptoms of toxicity. I have the topper inside the case that's provided plus a mattress cover over that. I don't know if Beckie'south claim is valid or not. All I know is I feel amend all over now that I'm sleeping on this topper. I sleep comfortably, and the coolness of the topper was a godsend when I was going through menopausal night sweats. I'd say the topper is a far amend selection over taking medication for back pain or nighttime sweats. How 'bout yous?

Great review on a product! We are in the same situation. No medical insurance. I practice know what causes my lower dorsum pain....and I do what I can to bargain with it. I had looked at so many of these cream toppers and it is almost impossible to compare one to the other short of merely buying them and trying them. I bought this ane on a whim when Big Lots had a xx% off everything in the store auction. It sat unopened in my house for several weeks and I was just about to return information technology when I constitute your review. After a rollover collision a few tears agone I learned I have degenerative disc illness. Some weeks are proficient, some not and so much. During a bad week I came across your review after spending numerous hours online searching for the perfect topper and today I took the plunge. Large Lots is virtually 2 mikes from my home and they had one Rex size left--it was mine!!! The Rex size is $119.00--withal cheaper than annihilation I found online. Had this foam mattress topper for about a month and it has been very good. I have owned at least 4 matress toppers before ranging from 1 inch to 4 inches. This 3 inch matress is just correct with the advisable cream density for my needs. I feel as if im floating with this foam topper and no ppressure points. Lower dorsum feels great in the morning time. Awesome value overall and got minr at Big Lot. Cheers for starting this blog.

For the nighttime sweats attempt macca root. If u have a whole foods or an earthfare near u or whatsoever other health nutrient store they have it in that location. Get pure macca root powder u just use a teaspoon or so mix it in juice. Night sweats gone. Very inexpensive

I see it has been v weeks since I put the gel topper on and took the other topper off. I no longer need a step stool to become onto the bed, I just stand on my tippy toes. The big news is that for the by week I have slept through the night, I'd say five-half dozen hours on average. I had been waking up every ii hours on average before. I am happy, happy, happy. Thank you for your review that sent me to discover this. Btw, the other topper, the incorrect ane, is rolled upwards and covered upwardly in the basement. Neighbor didn't desire it. Those of you with new beds or toppers: give them a few weeks to become used to. For some, the comfort is instant, and for others information technology takes a few weeks. I felt the comfort instantly, simply the sleep extension took a few weeks. Oh, the cat is still thrilled, too. She has lots of places to choose from to snooze and still go rubbed and petted by me, and then she gives this a thumbs up, too. :-)

I finally got the iv-inch Serta foam off my bed and put the gel topper on. Oh, what a divergence! I dearest it! My cat loves it! We sort of fight for our spots since there is and so much more than room than the couch we'd been sleeping on. Cheers So MUCH for your review. I'd have never tried this gel topper if I hadn't read it and the comments. My body thanks you. I would have never guessed there would be such a deviation.

It doesn't feel bumpy, mugsylover. You can feel the texture, but it'south really rather soothing. You tin feel it when yous rub your hands over it, but not with your back. I don't know if I'm properly conveying what I'm trying to say or not. The texture is not distracting in the least. I honey mine!

I put it in a room with a small-scale space heater to speed upwards the procedure, and the next 24-hour interval used my air purifier to try to go equally much of the smell out. I slept similar a infant! I had a spinal chord injury and could not get comfortable in my bed. I spent $ane,000 on a pillow top mattress, simply it was too firm. I had a cotton topper on it earlier, only after 2 washes the seams tore and had to throw it out. With just the mattress, I could not lay on my back, or either side for also long without having pain. I am a side sleeper. After putting the Serta to the test I noticed, that I was comfortable without pain on either side, and actually fell asleep on my back. I besides usually accept to sleep with one leg out, considering I get hot. This pad actually kept me cool! I woke upwardly at half dozen in the morning feeling completely refreshed. I unremarkably sleep until 8:30 and take trouble getting up due to the tossing and turning. I highly recommend anyone with hurting, tossing, or sleep issues to give this a shot. At $99.00 at Big Lots was worth every penny. Thank you again bravewarrior for the recommendation and review!

We have a Large Lots not far from here, but I'm disabled and I don't want my married man to know I've bought some other i. It'southward easier on my body and my nerves to pay a bit more to have information technology delivered so I can hide it until he's out of the house. I don't know how large the Large Lots stores are, but my back and other trunk parts are likewise bad to walk very far. Wal-Mart? Forget it. Grocery store? I pay for those trips for days. I had to prevarication down with the meridian of my back and scootch my body up pressing my feet against the dresser. I need to wear slick nylon-type jammies, I guess, to go far easier to go in.

Shauna, I know it'due south a topper that goes on the mattress. Luckily for me, the bed frame arrived outset, so the mattress and box jump, then the I put the topper on. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong topper. The one I accept is just cream, not gel. I took the like shooting fish in a barrel way out and ordered the gel one from Amazon today and paid more than for it just so I'd take information technology and have it delivered. Peradventure my neighbour will take the old one since I haven't even slept on information technology yet and they simply got new beds. Y'all should see my bed. I had to order a pace stool to get onto information technology. I measured, and information technology is 34" high to get onto the bed. The bottom of my butt doesn't reach that loftier, even though I'1000 5'x" - or used to be. I fifty-fifty ordered the depression profile box leap. I'd need stilts if I'd gotten the regular box spring. Anyhow, I now have the softest pillowtop Sealy bed they make (an 8) and should be getting the gel topper Thursday and exist happy, happy, happy. Thank You!! (Oh, I never did hear from Big Lots.)

I've seen the topper that I review in this article for the aforementioned price repeatedly: $99 for a 3" queen size topper - and they are in stock. Yous'll have to go to your nearest Big Lots if you want to buy the topper in addition to the mattress (from what you're telling me).

I don't want you to be confused betwixt the mattress and the topper. They are two dissimilar slumber choices. I chose the topper because I'd already bought a new mattress (not a Serta) and I was attracted to the cooling quality. I made a adept decision in buying the topper.

I only wrote to ask if they'll take any toppers. My new bed will be here Monday, and just in instance I desire the topper to add. Rebecca, my mattress was doing me more harm than good and it'south not even two years one-time. I'd wake up and so achy every morning. A hot shower helped only only temporarily. The topper has done the trick and saved me a lot of money in the long run.

I got a memory cream bed with gel topper-- it was like 'where accept you been all my life?" I love it. The gel foam works pretty well, and the bed is and then comfy. I retrieve the trick is the density & the thickness-- you take to go pretty high density and I was told to go 1 at least 12 inches thick (mine is fifteen inches), but it is awesome. I was getting so sick of leap mattresses giving out... I've had mine now for about viii months and beloved it. It wasn't a serta only I highly recommend the foam.

Laurie, I got my queen size topper at Big Lots for $99 also. I love it. I no longer awaken with back pain, nor practice I have pain thru the day. It really was a good investment. I highly recommend it and no one has this topper for a lower cost than Large Lots, from what I've seen.

Leah, put the egg crate side upwards. You'll honey this topper. It'southward the best buy I've e'er made. I haven't had back pain since I bought it. It maintains its shape beautifully. I've been sleeping on it for 6 months now and information technology is the same every bit when I first put information technology on the bed - no torso dents or misshaping. The all-time part is, it's cool. There's nothing worse than being hot while trying to slumber!

If yours came with a case, be sure to apply it. It'due south actually pretty easy to get the topper inside. I was able to do it myself.

This might be a featherbrained question but when putting the topper into its trounce should I have the apartment side upwardly or the egg crate like grooves?
